The Master and the Dragon

Got inspired to do this quick painting after watching a clip of an old Swedish film called The Brothers Lionheart by Astrid Lindgren. The scene was from when the tyrant Tengil summoned the fearsome dragon Katla in a battle sequence in the movie. I found the image of the dragon appearing over the hill quite striking, so I wanted to try my own take on a dragon with a more slithering and bendable body type as it crawled up the hill to greet its master.
